Shield NOYB stores account and login data. It does not store your conversations, memory, embeddings, or retrieval index on our servers.
We store only the data required to authenticate you and operate account access. This includes:

Shield NOYB has no server-side application storage for conversations, messages, memories, or embeddings.
Your conversations, memory, embeddings, retrieval data, and most settings live on your device in local app or browser storage.
If you enable local vault protection, compatible local data is encrypted on your device with your passphrase.
When you use Shield NOYB, the service authenticates your account and forwards encrypted requests needed to operate the product.

Our servers do not act as storage for your chats or memory.
Shield NOYB may transmit active encrypted requests to third-party infrastructure used to provide the application’s core inference function, including Tinfoil.
That processing is only for the purpose of providing the application’s requested response. It is not additional processing for advertising, profiling, or data mining by Shield NOYB.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not store your chat history on our servers.
We do not store your memory or embeddings on our servers.
We do not use your conversations for advertising or user profiling.
We retain server-side account and authentication data for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain account access, and satisfy legal or security obligations.
Retention of conversations, memory, and embeddings is controlled by the local storage on your device because that data is not stored on our servers.
